The Better Business Bureau is launching its Growth Surge BootCamp, offering Fresno-area small-business owners an opportunity to enhance their business skills and compete for a $1,000 microgrant. The event will take place in person from November 14 to 15 and is intended for entrepreneurs whose businesses are already generating revenue and are ready to grow.

Participants will receive training focused on improving operations, strengthening marketing strategies, expanding online presence, and developing leadership qualities such as confidence and adaptability. The program features sessions led by experts, interactive activities, and peer learning opportunities designed to provide practical tools that can be applied immediately.

Eligibility requirements include owning a legally registered business that has been generating income for at least six months but no more than three years. Priority will be given to applicants with steady growth who are prepared to scale their operations. Those who complete the bootcamp become eligible for a $1,000 microgrant aimed at supporting further business development.

Attendance is mandatory for both days of the bootcamp, which runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The participation fee is $99 and must be paid within 72 hours of acceptance into the program. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
