The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County has announced a partnership with local nonprofits to provide free memberships for children at its clubs. The initiative, part of the organization’s “United for Impact” campaign, will allow children aged 6 to 18 to access any of the nonprofit’s 14 locations without cost for one year.

This collaboration is in celebration of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ 76 years serving the community. CalViva Health is also involved as a partner in the effort. Families can obtain vouchers for free membership through participating nonprofits after the official campaign launch on September 23.

“Our goal is simple but powerful: open communication and collaboration lines between Fresno’s vital youth-based community organizations to share insights, improve systems, and better understand the challenges our youth and families face,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County President and CEO Jason Hannold in a letter.

The organization states that this focus on communication and partnership aligns with its mission to inspire young people—especially those from vulnerable backgrounds—by offering safe spaces and quality programs. Vouchers do not have an expiration date; each new member’s application date marks the beginning of their free year.
