California travelers looking to save on summer vacations in 2025 will find a wide range of deals available at hotels, resorts, and attractions across the state. Offers include discounted room rates, resort credits, bundled packages, and theme park specials in Southern, Central, and Northern California.

For those heading to Southern California, LEGOLAND in Carlsbad is offering a Summer Play Pass for $129, granting unlimited access to both the theme park and SEA LIFE Aquarium through September 19. This is the same price as a regular one-day ticket. Guests booking onsite lodging at least 30 days ahead can save up to 25 percent.

At The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, visitors who book three nights receive a $400 resort credit that can be used for spa treatments or dining at onsite restaurants overlooking the golf course. Additional offers are listed on the San Diego Tourism deals page.

The Ranch at Laguna Beach provides a third night free for guests staying three nights or more, along with waived parking and resort fees. Their “Pillows and Pancakes” package includes a $50 breakfast credit. Visitors to Laguna Beach this summer can also pick up a 2025 Passport to the Arts for free admission to major festivals and events.

Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach has a promotion offering up to $500 in resort credit depending on length of stay, while Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary Ticket Offers allow entry for as low as $100 per day through August 14. Discounts of up to 20 percent are available for stays at Disneyland’s onsite hotels.

Other notable deals include 15 percent off stays at Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Los Angeles; up to 20 percent off at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa near Palm Springs; buy-one-get-one tickets at Universal Studios Hollywood; pool packages at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula Valley; discounts on stays and park tickets at The Viv Anaheim; Sunday night rates starting at $249 at Terranea Resort; daily resort credits at Casa del Mar in Santa Monica; long-stay discounts and luxury car packages from Shutters on the Beach; RV rental savings with Roadsurfer; perks-filled bookings with Peregrine Hospitality Group hotels statewide; and several other options throughout Southern California.

Central California visitors can take advantage of third night free deals at select Santa Barbara hotels, fourth night free or half-off promotions at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa in Pismo Beach, up to 35 percent off longer stays or aquarium package deals near Monterey Bay Aquarium, and discounted packages with dining credits in Visalia—a city noted for being California’s first Autism-Certified community due to its accessibility features.

Merced County’s Splash-n-Dash Aqua Park offers Visit California readers an exclusive 30 percent discount on admission during the season.

Northern California destinations are also promoting travel incentives. In Truckee, booking directly through VisitTruckeeTahoe earns travelers a $150 gift card for use around town. Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco is marking the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary with themed packages including suite upgrades and restaurant discounts.

The Lodge at Sonoma is providing a $100 nightly resort credit for stays of three nights or more until July 31. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has deeply discounted ride wristbands Monday through Thursday evenings until August 7 alongside nightly entertainment programs.

Other regional offers include up to 20 percent off accommodations—and additional local specials—in Sonoma County; third night free promotions among top Napa Valley resorts like Four Seasons Napa Valley; wine tasting passports good for visits through August across St. Helena wineries; game day hotel packages tied to Athletics baseball games near Sacramento; adventure bundles on the Mendocino Coast including rail bike tours and canoe trips from Little River Inn; eco-friendly discounts from Mendocino Inn & Farm; craft beer packages along Half Moon Bay’s harborfront; family-friendly amenities near Redding’s Sundial Bridge with complimentary attraction tickets or local gift cards included.

Travelers are encouraged by tourism officials to check local visitor bureau websites before booking for additional seasonal offers that may not be widely advertised: “To make the most of your trip, start by checking the tourist board website of your destination. You’ll likely find offers that either shave a little (or a lot) off your hotel rate or bundle in freebies and amenities.”

“Here are 20-plus ways to stretch your summer getaway budget in Southern, Central, and Northern California,” according to Visit California representatives.

Many of these promotions have blackout dates or limited availability windows—some running only through late summer—so early planning is recommended.
