The California Public Utilities Commission announced on April 13 a list of new filings and proposed decisions submitted during the week of April 6 to April 10, 2026. The updates include proposed decisions open for public comment as well as newly filed complaints and applications that could influence future regulatory actions in the state.

These weekly filings are significant because they affect California’s utility services, communities, and consumers. Many of the proposed decisions are open for public comment, allowing stakeholders to provide input before final rulings are made.

Among the highlighted proceedings is A2205022, a decision implementing California’s shared renewables portfolio filed on April 7. Another key filing is A2401002 from April 10, which proposes adopting revenue requirements for Liberty Utilities’ general rate cases in Test Year 2025. Additional proceedings address modifications to prior commission decisions, financing orders related to wildfire recovery bonds for Southern California Edison Company under Assembly Bill 1054, and compensation claims such as that of Hansen Surfboards Inc.

New complaints include several billing error allegations against Southern California Edison Company by individual complainants in proceedings C2604003, C2604006, and C2604007. Other notable filings involve an application by Roy H. Halim Machmur (Liberty Day Express) seeking authority to operate passenger services between Orange County and Los Angeles County with a flexible fare structure (A2604004), PacifiCorp’s request regarding asset sales in Washington (A2604005), San Jose Water Company’s cost recovery application for PFAS remediation (A2604010), and an investigation into whether Elkhorn Energy Storage System has remained out of service long enough to warrant expense disallowances from Pacific Gas & Electric rates (I2604008).

The commission encourages interested parties to submit written comments on proposed decisions through each proceeding’s Docket Card or subscribe using the proceeding number to receive ongoing updates.
