Each week, new filings are added to ongoing and new proceedings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers in California. These filings include Proposed Decisions, which are often open for public comment, as well as complaints or applications that could influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For the week of September 1-5, 2025, two Proposed Decisions have been filed with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). The first, under Proceeding A25-01-008 filed on September 2, 2025, is a Proposed Decision revoking the certificate of public convenience and necessity for California Water Service Company’s Millerton District. The second, under Proceeding R12-02-009 filed on September 5, 2025, is a Proposed Decision denying two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036.

Members of the public can submit written comments on any Proposed Decision directly through the CPUC’s Docket Card. Additionally, individuals can subscribe to updates on any proceeding by using its number through the CPUC’s Subscription Service to receive notifications about updates, rulings, and notices.
