Each week, new filings are added to ongoing and new proceedings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers in California. These filings include Proposed Decisions, which are often open for public comment, as well as new complaints or applications that may influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For the week of July 28 to August 1, 2025, several key filings were made with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).

A Proposed Decision was filed on July 28, 2025, in Proceeding A2305010. This decision concerns the Test Year 2025 General Rate Case for Southern California Edison Company. Members of the public can review this filing and submit written comments directly through the proceeding’s Docket Card.

Another Proposed Decision was filed on August 1, 2025, in Proceeding A2406004. This decision grants a joint application for a change of control involving Crimson Pipeline, L.P. (PLC-26) and San Pablo Bay Pipeline Company, LLC. (PLC-29). The public can also view this filing and provide comments via its Docket Card.

New complaints and applications were also submitted during this period. On July 28, 2025, Axxess Networks, LLC filed an application (Proceeding A2507015) seeking registration as a telephone corporation under Public Utilities Code Section 1013.

On July 30, 2025, Charter Communications, Inc., Charter Communications Holdings, LLC, and Cox Enterprises, Inc. jointly applied (Proceeding A2507016) for approval under Public Utilities Code Section 854 regarding the indirect transfer of control of Cox California Telcom, LLC (U-5684-C).

The CPUC encourages members of the public to participate by submitting comments on any Proposed Decision through the CPUC Docket Card system or by subscribing to specific proceedings using their numbers to receive updates about rulings and notices.
