Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) publishes updates on new filings and proceedings that may affect utility services across the state. The latest update covers activities from September 8 to 12, 2025.
The CPUC highlighted several key items for this period. Among them is a proposed decision in Proceeding A25-04-015, which involves an application by San Diego Gas & Electric Company for approval to establish a ratemaking mechanism related to energization projects as outlined in Senate Bill 410. This proposed decision is currently open for public comment through the CPUC’s Docket Card system.
Another notable filing is in Proceeding R20-02-008, where a proposed decision was issued denying two petition requests to modify an earlier commission decision (12-12-036). This filing is also available for review and comment.
Additionally, there is a new complaint filed under Proceeding C25-08-017. In this case, Pilot Services, LLC has applied for registration as a telephone corporation under Public Utilities Code Section 1013.
The CPUC encourages members of the public to participate by submitting written comments on proposed decisions via each proceeding’s Docket Card. Stakeholders can also subscribe to individual proceedings using their specific numbers to receive updates and notifications about future rulings and notices.
“Stay Informed and Make Your Voice Heard!” the commission stated in its weekly update.
