California table grape growers are matching donations made to the Central California Food Bank from October 20 to 31, effectively doubling contributions during this period. The initiative coincides with California Farmer and Farmworker Month, which recognizes the contributions of farmers and farmworkers in the state.

The matching campaign will match every dollar donated up to $15,000. The effort is designed to raise awareness about food insecurity and provide critical support for ongoing food distributions in the San Joaquin Valley. Funds raised will be used to bolster the Central California Food Bank’s Farmworker Community Partnership Program, which operates across Fresno, Kern, and Tulare counties.

The Central California Food Bank serves as the largest hunger-relief organization in Central California, operating in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, and Tulare counties. According to the organization, one in four adults and one in three children in Central California experience food insecurity—defined as limited or uncertain access to adequate food.

Through a network of more than 260 partner agencies, the food bank distributes nutritious foods each month to over 320,000 people—including more than 100,000 children—in the region.
