De Young Properties is set to debut the second season of its “Sibling Showdown” web series on October 30, this time focusing on both holiday home design and charitable giving. The show features siblings Ryan, Ashley, and Brandon De Young as they compete to decorate model homes at the De Young Armstrong Welcome Center. Viewers can vote for their favorite designs, with episodes scheduled for release throughout November and December.

“This year, it’s about more than just design — it’s about giving back, spreading joy and celebrating the heart of the holidays,” said Ryan De Young, president of De Young Properties. “We’re thrilled to support three amazing local charities while creating a festive experience that connects our community and inspires others to join in the holiday spirit.”

In partnership with Educational Employees Credit Union, De Young Properties will donate $5,000 among three local nonprofits: Poverello House, Habitat for Humanity, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The charity chosen by the winning sibling will receive $3,000; each runner-up’s charity will get $1,000.

United Security Bank is sponsoring a separate $5,000 cash giveaway for viewers who participate in voting during the season.

“My design is all about creating warmth and togetherness for families during the holiday season,” said Ashley De Young, vice president of sales and marketing. “There’s something so special about bringing people joy through design and knowing that our efforts also help families in need across our community makes it even more meaningful.”

The siblings are collaborating with Central Valley companies Preen, RSVP Style, and Designer Flower Center to decorate their model homes.

“This is my chance to bring innovation and fun into a holiday design that families will remember,” said Brandon De Young, executive vice president. “It’s all about creativity, friendly competition and community spirit — and knowing that our efforts also support incredible local charities makes it that much more rewarding.”

The new season consists of 12 episodes airing on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram from October 30 through December 22. Valley Security & Alarm serves as this season’s sponsor.

A free public event is planned for December 6 at the De Young Armstrong Welcome Center in Fresno from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where attendees can tour decorated homes and cast votes in person. Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer will announce the winner at 3 p.m.

According to company data from last year’s inaugural season in 2024, thousands watched via social media platforms and email campaigns.

Details regarding giveaways and official rules are available on the company website.
