Snapchat and Disney have partnered for a marketing campaign to promote the release of Zootopia 2. The initiative aims to engage fans both on the Snapchat app and in real-world locations.

The campaign features popular characters from the film, including Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Clawhauser. It also involves the Snapchat community, encouraging users to connect with friends using the platform’s features.

As part of the campaign, there will be out-of-home activations at notable sites in Los Angeles such as The Grove and The Americana. Additionally, moviegoers attending Zootopia 2 screenings will see a cameo appearance of Snapchat reimagined as “Snapcat,” where Clawhauser uses an AR Lens during a Gazelle concert scene.

On the digital side, U.S.-based Snapchat users will receive a Sponsored Snap featuring Zootopia 2 characters directly in their Chat inboxes. Globally, users can access seven new augmented reality Lenses inspired by characters from the film. These Lenses will be available through a branded AR Bar in Snapchat’s Lens carousel from November 24 to 27.
