Several individuals and organizations in the agricultural sector were recognized for their contributions at the 2025 Agriculture Awards, held on November 14 at the Fresno Fairgrounds. The event was organized by the Fresno Chamber of Commerce to honor those who have played a significant role in shaping agriculture in the Central Valley.

Four awards were presented during the ceremony. Stuart Woolf, president and CEO of Woolf Farming Company, received the Agriculturalist of the Year award. According to the chamber, Woolf has contributed to Fresno County agriculture through efforts such as promoting sustainable crop management, investing in drought-resistant agave farming, and supporting agricultural research with philanthropic donations.

Belmont Nursery, a plant nursery located in Fresno, was named Baker Tilly Agribusiness of the Year.

The Agricultural Employee of the Year award was given to Edgar Blanco, vice president of operations at Hall Management Group Inc., an agricultural business based in Kerman.

The annual awards aim to recognize leaders and businesses that contribute to both local communities and the broader agricultural industry.
