The Fresno Chamber of Commerce has introduced a new monthly event series called Member Meetups. The initiative aims to bring Chamber members together in an informal setting to encourage networking and relationship building.

“These meetups create a space for our members to truly connect beyond business cards,” said Dejah Magaña, the Chamber’s membership and program coordinator. “It’s about building meaningful relationships that strengthen our community. Sometimes the greatest value we can offer is simply time and space for members to connect with one another. These meetups are about fostering that sense of community.”

Businesses hosting these gatherings are also Chamber members, offering them an opportunity for increased visibility and engagement with other local businesses.

“We want to be part of the community, and the Chamber members are part of the community. They get to know us, and we get to know them,” said Anvar Tulyag, co-owner of Paris Baguette Bakery Café, where the first meetup will be held. “They can come and enjoy themselves and then tell other customers.”

The inaugural meetup is scheduled for September 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Paris Baguette Bakery Café on North Blackstone Avenue in Fresno. Active Chamber members may attend at no cost but will need to pay for any refreshments they purchase.

Information on upcoming meetups, mixers, ribbon cuttings, and registration details is available on the Chamber’s website.
