Fresno State will host its annual homecoming week from October 20 to 25, inviting students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the Central Valley community to participate in a series of events under the theme “Can’t Hide that Bulldog Pride.” The schedule features activities designed to engage the campus and broader community, with many events free and open to all.

Homecoming week begins with “Fired Up by the Fountain,” a kickoff event featuring giveaways, live performances, and entertainment for students, faculty, and staff at Memorial Gardens. Other highlights include the Homecoming Pawrade—a parade showcasing decorated golf carts and spirited walking groups—and Paint the Path, where attendees can help create a painted walkway through campus.

The week also includes wellness-focused activities such as Yoga Under the Stars and Red Wave Recharge. Students can participate in creative events like Tie Dye and Good Vibes or Build-A-Bulldog to make their own plush mascot. Entertainment options range from Live Band Karaoke to a performance by hypnotist and magician Noah Sonie.

Athletic events are part of the celebration. Fresno State’s women’s volleyball team will play matches against New Mexico and Grand Canyon at Save Mart Center. The homecoming football game will see the Bulldogs face San Diego State at Valley Children’s Stadium while debuting new black uniforms with a vintage look. Former quarterback and coach Jeff Tedford will be inducted into the Ring of Honor during the game.

The Top Dog Alumni Awards ceremony is also scheduled during homecoming week. This event recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions to their communities and have enhanced Fresno State’s legacy of excellence.

Additional activities include Red Friday—a spirit day for faculty and staff—Charging Up That Bulldog Spirit with free energy drinks and music for students, and a public Homecoming Takeover at Crow & Wolf Brewing Co. in Clovis featuring food trucks, live music, Fresno State gear giveaways, and appearances by Victor E. Bulldog IV and the Alumni Band.

Events are sponsored by Associated Students Inc., Fresno State Athletics, Fresno State Alumni Association, Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Family Association, Staff Assembly Executive Committee, Student Involvement, Student Health and Counseling Center, Student Housing, Recreational Sports, and Fitness.
