The Hanford Winter Wonderland is set to return for its fifth year, offering an expanded selection of attractions and activities aimed at families and community members. The event will again transform the area in front of the Civic Auditorium into a winter-themed space, featuring an ice-skating rink, carousel, vendor village, and dedicated areas for children’s and family activities.

Last year’s Winter Wonderland drew approximately 92,000 visits over its seven-week run. Organizers have worked to add new elements this season to build on that success.

New additions to this year’s lineup include a Princess Breakfast & Skate scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., a Superhero Breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., and Storytime with Santa on Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m.

“We have a few other surprises to delight children of all ages,” said Hanford Parks and Community Services Director Brad Albert. “We invite the entire Central Valley to create lasting holiday memories with us and experience the magic of the holiday season at Hanford Winter Wonderland.”

A ceremonial tree lighting is planned for Saturday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m.

Additional details about attractions, events, ice rink rentals, seasonal party spaces such as the North Pole Lounge and Polar Lounge, as well as an event calendar can be found on the Hanford Winter Wonderland website.
