IAM leaders visit Wisconsin facilities to recognize union workers’ skills

IAM Union International President Brian Bryant, Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, and Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo recently toured facilities in Wisconsin where IAM Local 1947 members work at Mercury Marine and Local 873 members are employed at John Deere.

Local union officials organized the tours for the visiting IAM officers and staff. During these visits, Bryant highlighted his appreciation for the skills and dedication demonstrated by union members involved in manufacturing Mercury Outboard engines and John Deere equipment. He stated his admiration for “the high-quality work and skills displayed by the union members in manufacturing products like Mercury Outboard engines and premium John Deere equipment.”

Workers from Mercury Marine spoke about their roles in machining, pouring, and grinding components, emphasizing their pride in producing American-made goods.
