Kaiser Permanente Fresno is set to open its new Orchard Plaza Medical Offices with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. The facility will begin serving patients and members early next month. This marks Kaiser Permanente’s largest expansion of medical services in Fresno in the past two decades.

The project broke ground in December 2023, with construction managed by Swinerton. The four-story building, located at 7150 N. Corporate Dr., spans 146,000 square feet.

The new complex will offer a range of services including primary and specialty care, pediatrics, oncology, laboratory services, radiology, and pharmacy. It is expected to employ about 400 staff members, including more than 100 physicians.

According to Kaiser Permanente’s news release: “The opening is the organization’s largest expansion in medical services in Fresno over the past 20 years.”

The facility has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and includes features such as solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, drought-tolerant landscaping, a walking path, and bicycle facilities.
