Nicole Linder, CEO of the Marjaree Mason Center, will step down from her position in the coming months after nine years leading the organization. The center, which supports survivors of domestic violence, credited Linder with expanding its programs and increasing its community presence during her tenure.
During Linder’s leadership, the nonprofit experienced notable growth in support and opened a new facility, the Isnardi Foundation building, which expanded its capacity to serve clients.
“Leading the Marjaree Mason Center has been the honor of my career. I am deeply proud of all that we have accomplished together and confident in the strength of our team, our partners, our mission and community impact. While it is not easy to step away, I believe that it is the responsibility of organizations to make transitions while things are on solid ground and know this is the right time for me and for the Marjaree Mason Center,” Linder said.
She indicated that her decision comes as she believes the center is well-positioned for a leadership transition. According to information provided by the organization, Linder plans to leave her role to spend more time with her family.
Board President Kerri Horn praised Linder’s work: “Nicole has been an extraordinary leader whose vision and dedication have transformed the Marjaree Mason Center. Her legacy of impact will continue to benefit our community for years to come. The Board is committed to honoring her accomplishments while moving forward with a careful and inclusive process to identify the organization’s next leader.”
The board will oversee a recruitment process for a new CEO, with updates expected in upcoming months. The center stated it remains dedicated to providing services for those experiencing domestic violence.
