Los Angeles police have arrested a group suspected of being responsible for nearly 100 residential burglaries throughout the region, according to an announcement made Monday. The operation involved several law enforcement agencies and LA County sheriff’s deputies, who searched eight homes early Wednesday morning.

Seven men, aged between 22 and 47, were taken into custody on charges that include burglary and possession of controlled substances while armed. Police reported that another man with an outstanding warrant turned himself in two days later. Two other individuals linked to the crew were already incarcerated on attempted murder charges. In total, authorities say ten suspects are involved.

Police described all ten as repeat offenders and confirmed gang members. Investigators believe the crew is connected to at least 92 break-ins dating back to 2022, with most occurring in 2024 and 2025.

LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell credited interdepartmental cooperation for the arrests: “What made this takedown possible was the outstanding work of our officers and detectives — communicating across divisions and bureaus, sharing intelligence, and connecting the dots that revealed these burglaries were tied to the same crew.”

LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman commented on his office’s approach: “not hesitate to seek the maximum penalties under the law.”

During searches related to the arrests, officials recovered luxury watches, bracelets, purses, wallets, cash, burglary tools such as window-breaking devices and handheld radios, large quantities of ammunition and firearms, narcotics, a money counter and multiple cellphones.
