The PM Lounge in Fresno is set to open its doors this weekend with a three-day event featuring high-profile entertainment. The members-only venue will host DJ Diesel, the stage name of Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, for a DJ set on Thursday, November 13, as announced on Instagram.

The opening festivities are limited to members and those interested in joining. Michael Huntley, who won “The Voice” in 2023 and performs as “Huntley,” is also scheduled to perform during the event.

“Not only do I get to perform at this exclusive top of the line venue but I also get to close the night with the legendary @shaq,” Huntley wrote on Instagram.

PM Lounge aims to provide a premium experience for its members. Master Chef Charles Armenta leads the kitchen at the 16,000-square-foot location at 8059 Cedar Ave., near Nees Avenue. As of September 15, more than 200 membership applications had been received out of a maximum cap of 800. Members are allowed to bring up to three guests per visit.

Members-only clubs like PM Lounge are uncommon in California’s Central Valley compared to cities such as San Francisco and other parts of the Bay Area.
