Snap Inc. has announced that Snapchat users can now use their favorite stickers outside the main app. The company is launching a new iMessage App and Snapchat Keyboard for both iOS and Android, making its sticker library accessible in more places where people chat.

According to Snap Inc., “Snapchatters love using stickers to enhance communication with their friends, whether they’re simply saying hello to the group chat or cheering up their BFF. Today, we’re introducing new ways for our community to use their favorite Snapchat stickers, wherever they’re chatting.”

The new features allow users to access Snap’s sticker collection through different messaging platforms. Snap Inc. stated, “Snapchat stickers are now available outside the app. Our new iMessage App and Snapchat Keyboard for iOS & Android bring Snap’s sticker library to your fingertips for more fun chats. To get started, simply head to your settings on Snapchat.”

This update reflects an ongoing trend among social media companies to make popular in-app features available across other platforms and devices.
