Snapchat launches app for Amazon Fire Tablet users worldwide

Snapchat is now available for download on Amazon Fire Tablets via the Amazon Appstore, expanding access to users of Fire OS devices globally.

The application offers core features such as Chat, Stories, Lenses, and Spotlight on Fire Tablets. Snapchat+ subscribers can also use their membership benefits on these devices. According to Snap Inc., more than 900 million people use Snapchat each month worldwide. The company states that this launch supports its goal of making Snapchat accessible across more platforms to help users stay connected.

“With Snapchat now available on Fire Tablets, it’s easier than ever for people around the world to create, capture, and share the everyday moments that matter most,” a spokesperson said.

The experience on Fire Tablets is described as comparable to what users find on Android and iOS devices. There are currently over 17 million global subscribers to Snapchat+.

Amazon Fire Tablets are widely used for entertainment, learning, and communication purposes.
