Snapchat has launched the Snapchat Winter Village, an augmented reality (AR) shopping experience that features luxury brands Chopard, BOSS, and Lancôme. This initiative marks the first time these three brands are brought together in a single digital space for luxury shopping.

The Snapchat Winter Village is available on the platform from December 1 to 31. Users can access the experience through the Lens Carousel or each brand’s Public Profile. The AR village allows visitors to enter virtual boutiques designed in collaboration with creative studio Atomic. Within each boutique, users can view products up close and complete purchases via the respective brand’s e-commerce site.

According to Snapchat, “the Snapchat Winter Village uses Snap’s AR technology to offer a fresh, engaging way to shop for the holidays. Snapchatters can discover new products, explore each brand’s universe, or find gift inspiration in a space that blends the ease of online shopping with the delight of an in-store visit.”

This AR initiative provides consumers with an interactive way to browse and buy holiday gifts without visiting physical stores.
