Fresno’s Fancher Creek Town Center will soon welcome a new Target store, with its grand opening scheduled for Sunday, October 19. The store is situated near Clovis and Tulare avenues.
Construction on the new location began in 2024. The site also includes a Sprouts grocery store, which is expected to open in 2026. The Target store will cover about 148,000 square feet and plans to employ more than 200 team members.
The Fancher Creek Target will feature 13,000 square feet dedicated to groceries, including fresh food and pantry staples. In addition to groceries, shoppers will find a Starbucks Cafe and a CVS Pharmacy inside the store, along with products from both Target’s own brands and national labels.
This opening is part of Target’s broader plan to add over 300 new stores nationwide within the next decade. As part of this expansion strategy, the company has made upgrades to services such as same-day drive-up, pick-up options, and same-day delivery through its Target Circle 360 membership program.
The new Fresno location recently received two liquor licenses: a Type 21 license that allows retail sales of beer, wine, and distilled spirits; and a Type 86 license that permits in-store tastings of these beverages. Only three other California Targets—located in Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, and Menifee—currently hold the Type 86 tasting license.
