Willow Osteria, a new Italian restaurant, has opened at The Avenue shopping center in northwest Clovis. The establishment is the latest project from Jimmy Pardini, who also owns The Annex Kitchen and Annesso Pizzeria.
The Avenue at Heritage Grove is located at Willow and Shepherd avenues on the Fresno-Clovis border. The shopping center was developed by Heritage Development Co., a partnership between the Parnagian and Ricchiuti families. Last month, Enzo’s Table, owned by the Ricchiuti family, relocated to serve as the anchor business for the development.
Willow Osteria offers regional pastas, wood-fired meats, and features a full bar with an extensive wine list. Its opening was met with anticipation online after a social media post generated many comments from people interested in trying the new restaurant.
Pardini said customer demand played a role in his decision to open Willow Osteria farther east than his other restaurants. “I think that the community has been sort of asking us about opening a restaurant over there, and this is a project that I’ve always wanted to do,” Pardini said.
